The greatest leader for centuries I was deeply shocked to hear the tragic news of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the greatest leader India has produced for many centuries. His efforts for the restoration of peace had attracted world-wide attention. He will, I am certain, live in the hearts of all peace lovers and though he may not be in our midst his spirit will continue to guide those who are anxious for the return of genuine peace.
